Homemade Wrinkle Removers That Work

Although there are many quality wrinkle remover creams out on the market, don't be fooled into thinking that there aren't natural wrinkle treatments out there too -- because there are. As a matter of fact, you can probably create your very own homemade wrinkle removers with things found around your home.

Here Are A Few Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Wrinkles

\"face Mask\"

Honey is one of the best home made wrinkle removers available. All you have to do is thinly spread the honey onto your face and leave it there for about 25-30 minutes. Once the time elapses, wash away the honey with warm water and then gently rub an ice cube all over your face -- more specifically, rub the ice cube on the places where the honey was applied. An important thing to remember before starting this home wrinkle remedy is to wash your face with warm, borderline hot, water. This allows the pores in your skin to open up, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the honey.

Bananas can be used to make a very effective, natural anti-wrinkle cream. Simply mash up a banana or two until the banana(s) becomes cream like -- this shouldn't take long. Once it is in a creamy form, apply it liberally to your entire face. Let it sit for around 30 minutes and then rinse it away with warm water. Pat dry your skin; do not rub dry it.

When it comes to natural wrinkle removal, it doesn't get much easier than coconut oil. Just rub warm coconut oil into your skin each night and continue the process for as long as you want to keep wrinkles away -- That's it.

Pineapple is another great homemade wrinkle remover. Begin by cutting out the core of the pineapple. Once removed, take the core and gently rub it on your face, making sure you get all the problem areas; around the mouth, under & around the eyes, etc. Leave the thin layer of pineapple juice on your face for about 20 minutes, then you can wash it off with warm or cold water.

As you can see, you have plenty of options when it comes to choosing homemade wrinkle removers. Does that mean you should forsake all other anti wrinkle cream products? Of course not, as that would be foolish. In actuality, it simply means you don't have to rely wholeheartedly on department store wrinkle cream any longer.

Top 5 Homemade Acne Masks

While many people are suffering from acne only a few of us have the knowledge to make our own acne treatment that helps us reduce our acne problems. With this short guide you will find out how to make homemade acne mask from few simple ingredients that are present at almost every home. For easier start we have selected top five acne mask recipes which you can use for your endless struggle with acne.

Acne Mask #1: Salt Mask
This one of the easiest homemade acne masks that you can make. To make it you need sea salt or cooking salt and some water. You put the salt in the water for 20 minutes then apply the mask to acne spots and leave it on for 10-30 minutes. Salt cleans the skin and dries acne spots which makes it perfect treatment for acne scars. If you have the option then go to swim in the sea and you do not even have to make the mask, you just swim in it and enjoy the natural acne treatment.

Facial Face Mask

Acne Mask #2: Baking Soda
Another easy homemade acne mask which makes miracles for some of us when it comes to acne treatment. To make this mask all you need is water and baking soda. First clean acne spots with preferred cleanser (skin cleanser that you use normally will do the task), then mix the water and baking soda and apply the mixture on acne spots. Leave the mixture on for a while, do some household chores, read a book, go on internet, talk to your friends, watch television or do whatever makes you happy and then rinse the mask off your face. When soda mask will be removed you can feel how soft and clean is your skin. This treatment does not work the same for everyone, while some see drastic improvement in their acne treatment, others do not see any results. It depends on a person and skin type but if you find this mask suitable and efficient repeat the treatment several times a week for few weeks and you can say good bye to acne.

Acne Mask #3: Yogurt Mask
If two masks mentioned above were easy to make here is the third simple homemade acne mask that everyone can make. It consists of Yogurt and Honey and does not need a lot of preparation.

Take one teaspoon of honey and heat it up a little so it becomes softer (if you have dry skin ad additional teaspoon of honey for better effect). Then mix the honey with one tablespoon of natural yogurt which is medium fat (do not use low or non-fat yogurt). Mix the ingredients at room temperature for a while. When it is prepared apply it to acne spots that you wish to treat. Leave it on 10-20 minutes and then was it off with washcloth. If this acne mask helps you, try to use it several times a week and get rid of acne fast.

Acne Mask #4: Oatmeal and Onion Mask
This is a bit more complicated homemade acne mask than the masks I mentioned previously but its efficiency is very promising. You might dislike the smell of onion but you have the results in mind while setting aside the pleasure. Peel one medium sized onion and shred it until you get a puree. Cook ½ cup of plain (non-sweet) Oatmeal, when cooked set it aside to cool down and add the onion puree. When the mixture is cold apply it to your face and leave it on for 5-15 minutes. If the mask is not thick enough to stay on your face then you might add some honey to make it more sustainable. Then slowly rinse it off and wash your face. If you did not use the whole mask for treatment you can store it in refrigerator for 5-7 days before it gets old.

Acne Mask #5: Egg White Mask
This is the last but not least simple homemade acne mask. It is called the Egg white mask because you have to remove the yolk from the egg whites. No other preparation is needed. When yolk is separated you can put it away and take only egg whites. Then whip the white part until you have a dense paste. For people with oily skin it is advisable to apply some lemon juice and mix it with a paste to achieve a better effect. Clean your face and gently apply the mask. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and wash it off with warm water or washcloth. After using this mask your skin will be tightened and red spots will be cleared.

Well what are you waiting? Decide which mask do you prefer and start treating your acne now. If one homemade acne mask does not help you, there is always a chance to try another one. Probably it will take some time before you find the one that suits you most and helps you get rid of acne but you have a lot of masks to choose from.

Hair Treatments For Thickening Hair - Homemade Thickening Hair Masks

I am a big advocate for deep conditioning treatments and hair masks. Hair masks are very effective in adding moisture, strength, softness, and shine to your hair. They allow for deep penetration of nutrients needed for hair thickening, hair growth, and nourishment ultimately resulting in healthy locks. Some of the best thickening hair products can be made at home yourself. Homemade hair treatments such as masks give you control over what you're putting on your fine strands and scalp. They also provide a lot of fun as you are able to experiment with different natural ingredients such as fruit, essential oils, and organic extracts. To improve effectiveness and to optimize results, use the following recipes at least once a week.

Thickening and Nourishing Recipe

Facial Face Mask

Take one ripe banana and mash creating a thick consistency, mix in one egg and blend until smooth, use a hand mixer if possible. Add one half cup of flat beer, then a tablespoon of honey, and blend for a creamy consistency. Apply the conditioning mask generously ensuring that you've applied to all of your hair as well as the scalp. Let this sit on your hair for a few hours and then use a mild shampoo when ready to wash out.

Natural Protein Recipe for Thicker Hair

Use this all-natural conditioner to pump up the volume on those fine locks by applying plain mayonnaise with a beaten egg. To add some moisture, mix in a little honey and olive oil (about a tablespoon of each). Let this sit on your main for 30 minutes and shampoo it out with a moisturizing shampoo. Remember that this recipe has quite a bit of protein which can make the hair a little stiff and hard. It is critical that after shampooing that you proceed with a moisturizing conditioner. This ensures that you won't experience dryness which can lead to breakage.

De-Frizz Recipe

Does your tresses have frizz? Don't worry this recipe is sure to have those frizzies tamed in no time! To make this de-frizz mask take ½ cup of honey, ½ cup of yogurt and one tablespoon of almond oil. Combine the ingredients together and massage in to hair from root to ends. Let this sit for twenty minutes before washing out with a mild shampoo.

Egg and Beer Homemade Hair Mask

Yep, here's another recipe that calls for beer. Why beer? Beer has properties that help to thicken thin hair, gives the appearance of fullness with volume, and succulence! It also contains proteins that provide shine as well as make the hair look healthy! Take one egg and separate the yoke from the white. Using only the yolk, blend with about 50ML of beer, ensuring that they are mixed very well. Apply to damp hair, cover with a plastic shower cap, wrap head with a towel and let sit for 30 minutes. Then shampoo the mixture out, rinse well, and proceed with applying a moisturizing conditioner.

Tip: Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.

Homemade Milk Facial Cleanser

Milk is an amazing product. It's rich in nutrients and vitamins such as protein, vitamins A, D and B, calcium, phosphorus, zinc and magnesium. Some of the many benefits of milk that are widely known are the ability to prevent osteoporosis and tooth decay. What is less known is the beauty benefits of milk. You probably have seen commercials on skin care products which promote milk as one of their ingredients. As we all know, most over-the-counter skin care products contain many chemicals that some of us prefer not to put on our skin. If you are interested in the beauty benefits of milk, you don't necessary need to get these products. Instead you can start from your kitchen.

Powdered milk is the ingredient you'll need to make your own milk cleanser. Before preparing the paste, wet your face with lukewarm water. It's important that you use lukewarm because lukewarm water helps open up the pores so that cleanser can get in and lift the dirt in the pores. People with dry skin will want to use water that's a bitter cooler than that. Now that your skin is wet, it's time to prepare the cleanser.

Facial Face Mask

Get one or two tablespoons of powdered milk and slowly add water to the powder. Mix it to form a paste. If you want, you can add a teaspoon of honey to the mixture. Now you can apply the mixture on your face and neck. Remember to rub in an upward circular motion like you would any other cleanser. Let it dry and then rinse with warm water. Like any other skin care treatments, repeat this cleansing treatment regularly and your skin will be better. Since milk contains lactic acid, it can help remove dead skin cells and residue which can cause acne.

I have some friends who have had success with this treatment. Before the treatment, they complained about the occasional blemish. Now their skin is softer, cleaner and supple. Some of them even said it helped reduce fine lines and wrinkles on their skin. If you are going to give this treatment a try, be prepared to experiment with different brands of powdered milk in order to find one that works best for you. Some brands may make your skin too dry. So try different brands until you find one that works for you.

This mask is infused with the goodness of oatmeal, honey, wheatgerm oil and yoghurt. All these ingredients are key to your beauty. Plus, it's really simple to make and you probably already have all these ingredients in your own kitchen.

Ingredients:

3 tbs of plain yoghurt

4 tbs of oatmeal

If the mixture is still runny, apply gauze over your face to hold the mask in face.

Yoghurt - Yoghurt is popularly known for its beauty properties. It's very moisturizing and pampering to the skin. Even during Cleopatra's time, she would also soak herself in a bath full of sour milk or in this case, yoghurt as one of her favourite beauty regime.

Honey - Honey is an emollient and leaves skin pampered and moisturized. Also, it helps to adhere mask to skin

Wheat germ oil - Wheat germ oil is rich in Vitamin E, essential to help fight off free radicals that break down the collagen formation on our skin

Oatmeal - Oatmeal is very soothing to the skin. Plus, it helps to purify skin and has a wonderful skin softening property

To optimally pamper your skin, use this facial mask twice every week. In conjunction with eating the right face foods for beauty, a good beauty regime that you adopt religiously and the right facial massage, you will have enviable glowing radiant skin in no time.

How to Make a Face Mask - Easy Homemade Beauty Face Masks

Giving your skin a treat is easy as pie when you know how to make a face mask. Homemade beauty face masks are often much better for your skin than store bought products. This is because they do not contain the preservatives that the store bought ones need in order to have a long shelf life.

When you make a homemade beauty face mask you can get creative and use whatever you have at home.

Facial Face Mask

Oatmeal is good for thickening the face mask as well as working soothing on your skin. Honey is moisturizing and calming for the skin, while olive oil or even a whole egg is great for dry skin. If you use only the egg white it will have a tightening effect on your pores, making them smaller. If you use only the egg yolk it will be incredibly nurturing and soften up the driest of skins. Other things like yoghurt or milk can be used as well.

The acid in fruits is perfect for cleansing, reducing wrinkles and acne and making your skin silky smooth. Examples of fruits great for your beauty mask:

Avocado, Banana - moisturizing
Papaya, Pineapple - cleansing and good if you have oily skin
Strawberries - purifying and can lighten your skin
Lemon, grapefruit - against oily skin

Choose the fruit that you feel suits your skin. Remember, if you're sensitive or allergic to eating a fruit then don't use it on your skin. Prepare the fruit, cut it into chunks, put it in the mixer and mix until smooth. Then blend the puree in a bowl with any other ingredients of your choice, for example oatmeal and olive oil. Here are some examples of combinations you can use:

Face mask for dry skin - 1 Banana, 1 tsp Honey, Oat meal
Face mask against big pores - 1 egg white, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp honey
Cleansing face mask - 1/2 Papaya, 1-2 tsp Oat meal, Honey

Now that you've learned how to make a face mask yourself, you can make them together with your friends and have the best time throwing a spa themed girls' night in. Remember not to wear your best outfit when trying out homemade beauty face masks, as there usually is some spilling involved!

If it seems like too much work for you to make your own beauty mask then you can find the best natural ones on the internet, for example deep cleansing Kaolin clay mask or deeply hydrating mask with Rigin.

Cleansing and Exfoliating Homemade Face Mask Recipe

Making your own homemade face mask is beneficial for several reasons. Firstly it contains only the things you put in it, and most of us do not have any preservatives or chemicals laying around the house, now do we? Secondly, it is fun - and having fun is very beneficial for your health. Thirdly, and most importantly, your skin will thank you for it and look better than ever!

Before you start the fun, here are some tips for how you apply a homemade face mask without making a mess: Change into clothes which you don't mind spilling on, tie a towel on your head to protect your hair and ears and put a towel on the place you're planning to lie down on.

Facial Face Mask

This face mask is made out of completely natural but very effective ingredients. Here's what you'll need:

Strawberries (5 Big or 10 Small)
A little Oatmeal
1 Tbsp Honey

1. Remove the green from the strawberries, put it in the mixer and mix it until it's smooth
2. Blend the puree with oatmeal in a bowl, until you like the consistency and it's easy to work with.
3. Add the tsp of honey.
4. Apply the mixture on your clean face, neck or other area you want to exfoliate. Avoid eyes and other sensitive areas. Lie down and let it work for 10 to 15 minutes before you wash it of with lukewarm water.

The strawberries will have a cleansing and exfoliating effect, leaving your skin smoother than before. The oatmeal is also good at cleansing your skin from excess oil, in a gentle way, since it also delivers healthy fats. The honey is calming, moisturizing and great at taking care of any dryness.

If you have sensitive skin or are allergic to any of the ingredients, be careful about using just any face mask and try finding a recipe specifically for sensitive skin.

Remember to use natural skin care for your face daily too and to avoid regular moisturizers with chemicals. The best natural moisturizers and face masks have scientifically proven ingredients like natural vitamin E, active manuka honey and cynergy TK.
