Whether it's hat hair, dry skin, or rough heels, with winter time come winter woes!
This is the time of year when many people are prone to get 'winter itch,' caused by dry flaky skin. Attractive, i know!
Its important to note that most dry skin is a result of lack of water, not oil.

Here are a few everyday tips you can introduce into your daily routines that will begin to put the moisture back into your skin and you can glow until Christmas and into the cold January days!
1. Drink More Water. It may seem trivial, but water is so good for your entire body, especially your skin. Water acts as a natural remedy to head your way towards achieving beautiful rich glowing skin. Water acts as a body purifier, by removing toxins and waste from your body. People who are fed up with their overweight problem, for them hot lemon water works wonders in fastening their weight loss program. It also keeps your heart healthy.
2. Moisturize Daily. Cream moisturizers are best for normal to dry skin. A moisturizer without perfume or lanolin is best for people with sensitive skin. Always protect your skin from the sun, even in the winter. Winter sun can be as dangerous as summer sun. Use a sunscreen of SPF 15 or greater. Wear a moisturizer with some sunscreen in it to protect your skin.
3. Do Not Go To Bed With Makeup On. I know how tempting it is to sneek under the covers, especially if you have had a late night, and not even touch the make up on your face until the morning, but resist that temptation. Get into a habit of always cleansing, toning and moisturising before you go to bed. Makeup left on overnight seeps into your pores, clogs them, and congests your skin. Make sure that you wash your face twice at the end of the day. Once to get the makeup off. A second time to wash the skin itself.
4. Exfoliate Daily. After washing your face at night, be sure to exfoliate. Use a delicate scrub. If you don't have one on hand, a tablespoon of sugar or oatmeal will work just fine. Some people's skin does not agree with a scrub, and causes them to break out in spots, so try a gentle one first and see how you go.
5. Use Facial Masks Regularly. Once a week, or when you get a moment, run a long, hot bubble bath, get a good book or magazine, put on a face mask and relax! You can even make your own. Mashed banana or avocado is good. Plain yogurt also works well.
6. Treat Your Face Gently. Never pull, tug, or scrub your facial skin. Be very gentle when you clean it, moisturize it or makeup on it. This will lessen the chance that you'll damage your skin and get wrinkles.
7. Eat Healthy. Believe it or not, what you eat will eventually show on your face! Eat fresh foods and drink lots of water.
8. Let Go Of Stress. Do whatever you have to do to destress. Stress can show up on your face, no matter how well you take care of your skin. Do something your enjoy everyday, maybe going for a walk, cycle, shopping, etc. Your face reflects what's going on inside of your mind.
